Olivier Bracon joins Poralu Marine as Sales Director for Europe, Middle East & Africa

Poralu Marine, a specialist in high-end marina equipment (based in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France), announces the appointment of Olivier Bracon to the position of Sales Director, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Olivier Bracon holds a technical degree in mechanical engineering and is a graduate of IDRAC Business School, Lyon, where he studied marketing and industrial relations. Since launching his career in 1997, he has worked as a sales engineer, market manager, sales supervisor and export sales manager for the industrial companies TAS, Freudenberg and Carrier.

Choosing an international SME after a career at large corporations

A seasoned corporate sales manager, Olivier Bracon unhesitatingly decided to make the move to an SME in order to give meaning to his professional commitment: “Both the leaders and the teams at Poralu Marine truly embody a business project, a vision, an ambition and a set of values. This is a company which invests in its people. Here, you immediately feel the ‘Poralu spirit’, based on treating others with respect under all circumstances.” Making this leap was also eased by Olivier’s love of water sports, which are at the centre of Poralu Marine’s world!

His priority objectives will focus on continuing Poralu Marine’s international development – exports already account for 80% of the company’s business – and on launching new products to diversify Poralu Marine’s portfolio. One example of this diversification is the Seabin, a collector of floating waste and hydrocarbons which is particularly effective at keeping marina waters clean.
