Design, construction and installation of a new marina in an urgent timeframe, and in record time in order to coincide with the opening of the hotel complex. This was a turnkey marina project carried out in two phases.
The marina’s perimeter was part of the scope of work with several kilometres of fixed docks.
Friday Harbour is a resort facility with a premium marina. It is a four-season destination appealing to upmarket clientele high-end tourism.
The 1,000-slip marina is located on Lake Simcoe in Ontario. Our engineering and installation teams faced many technical challenges due to the harsh weather conditions of this region, such as a completely frozen lake in the winter.
Technical traits
Design and construction of the marina in two phases to deliver and install Poralu Marine docks in record time.
The installation of the marina was carried out during winter on a completely frozen lake. The docks were installed on the ice by our highly qualified team of installers at Poralu Marine Services.
The development of the marina’s perimeter and fixed piers created access from the resort to the marina and completed the project.
