Project

Renovation and replacement of Port Camargue marina facilities.

The first marina in Europe, Port Camargue accommodates 5,000 yachts.

Within a protected physical and natural environment, the needs for this marina facility were strong and durable docks that offer exceptional performance.

 

Technical traits

Poralu Marine directed the renovation and replacement of the existing floating docks and oversaw the provisioning of all the new environmentally-friendly facilities.
In total, four kilometres of docks were installed in the marina.

To offer a natural aesthetic that would be durable and virtually maintenance-free, Poralu Marine its Ecoteck-line of composite wood decking materials for all the docks at the marina.

A floating building structure was also designed specifically by Poralu Marine at the entrance of the marina. This “Boat House” is a unique structure that is secure and represents the heart of the marina. It is the welcome and information centre for boaters, marina clients and the general public.
